Cant scroll the screen

There is no way to scroll the screen in the Apple TV version? The game is unplayable.

Nice retro adventure with some flaws.

Nice pixel art and sounds but the action parts kind of ruin the games pacing. There are some pathing problems which can get annoying. Overall a nice game for retro fans.

Need option

Game text goes too daem fast. English is not my native language, I cant read so fast. Can you make option to slow it down, please.

Too damn short

Game is totally amazing in every way, but too short, i beat it in 3 hours or so. And yea, text is little too fast.

Good

Good, but too fast subtitles there...

Retro excellence

Space age is a masterpiece. I love the elegance of the retro look and all the brillant ideas you implemented in it. Theres all the soul and humour of Lucasarts and Cinemaware adventure games plus 200% post-modern irony and fine music.

Amazing!

This game is amazing.Graphics, music.Everything is perfect. But: iCloud sync of game progress doesnt work between iphone6 and ipad air2....

Not Optimized for the iPhone 6 Plus

Only buy this game while on sale. Not even worth the sale price of $1.99 until the game is optimized for the iPhone 6 Plus.

Tick

Only halfway through. What a charming game. Headphones well worth it.

Way over hyped

I tried to like this game. I really did. The hype over this game is what lead me to download in the first place. I am not sure why this game is as liked as it is. Its nothing but text. Nothing but reading subtitles, moving a little, reading more subtitles, moving a little, rinse, lather repeat. I have no control over the subtitles speed, and it feels like forever to complete one mission. If you like to do nothing but read and have very little gameplay, then this is for you. In my opinion, a horrible text game with throwback graphics, and even worse gameplay. After 3 missions, this game was quickly deleted.

OMG Talk talk talk

Ok, once Ive been through the story for a level, for the live of all thats holy let me please skip the story scenes. I want to play the game, I am not wanting to wait to play while the converstaions play out over and over again. Nice shoutout to Winfield KS; whos the flatpicker? Despite my diatribe, the game is fun, witty, and well made - I really enjoy the bits where I get to play.

Im the (disappointed) target market.

This is a slow, monotonous, non-game tribute to the pc games of my youth. Spoiler alert: those old games were better. Much better.

A reference to "Dark Star"?

First, great time-killing game with fairly short missions and a way-too-cool soundtrack. A couple of suggested improvements: add running speed for some of this landscape strolls, and adjustable subtitle strolling speed. The humor, story, style and soundtrack make this feel like playing through an episode of The Twilight Zone. Oh, and was Prof. Talby named after an astronaut in John Carpenters "Dark Star"?

Have a potential but disappointed.

I bought this game with so much expectation. I like indie game and I like reading. I really do. The artwork is so cool, so does soundtrack . But the major cons of this game is the story which completely kills the game. The dev have millions of way to make the story good but they just cant. It is not deep at all, extremely monotoned. And worst of all, it way way too short. I even played it for less than half a day. I paid the money too expect a lot more than this. Now, I just want my money back.

Beautiful game but boring to play

The artwork and design are top notch but this game is very slow and not very entertaining. It plays more like an animated kids movie than a video game.

My favorite game on iPhone

I dont write reviews often, but this game really surprised me. I really enjoyed myself and enjoyed the story and atmosphere. Reminded me a little of Zelda at times (mostly the story parts, not the gameplay). Would have preferred the subtitles to be tap-thru as I found them a little fast for my preference, but thats a minor quibble.

A wonderful experience

Space age delivers great graphics, superlative music and good controls. Although a few of the levels are way too hard. All in all I would definitely recommend this game. Although I can not comment on the storyline having not finished it.

But it could be better...

I like everything about the game...except for the subtitles. They are WAY too fast. Few of us are speed readers, game devs. It would honestly be awesome if you helped this little problem out. Please?

Brought me back to my childhood

Having been born in the early 80s and growing up playing all kinds of Sierra games, Monkey Island, Zack McCracken and Maniac Mansion, this game was a wonderful flashback. The dialogue was a bit cheesy at times, but it didnt take away from my enjoyment of it. Not sure if kids born on the graphics and cinematic narratives of games today will enjoy it as much, but those of us from simpler time, aka the beginning of the Internet, it should be a big hit. Hoping for Part 2!

Retro classic style keeps me coming back

I have to say that I really enjoy this game. It does indeed remind me of those classic adventure games of my youth. The story and dialogue is funny and simple and the gameplay is rather easy to understand and difficult in some areas to master the puzzles thrown at you. For an iOS game this has to be one of my all time favorites. Its exactly what I thought it would be and thats all I was wanting it to be
