Space Age is a game of cosmic adventure. Set in the retro-futuristic sci-fi world of 1976, it follows a small but determined band of intergalactic explorers who land on a seemingly uninhabited planet, Kepler-16. They soon discover there’s something both strange and familiar about this alien place… And what happens next is a clash of old and new, a battle of past mistakes and future fallout.

Pros and cons of Space Age: A Cosmic Adventure app for iPhone and iPad

Space Age: A Cosmic Adventure app good for

Very nice "retro" style adventure game! Funny and intelligent game that old and new gamers will love. I dont play often but when I play I like to spend time with good story. Thanks!
Fun times indeed. Space/Kings Quest fans will be right at home!
Its perfect for a dollar but any higher it wouldnt be worth it. I like it but only in short bursts as some things can be frustrating.
Ive just came here to say WOW, just… WOW! Didnt finish yet (Chapter 9: Godspeed), but what a precious piece of art this game is, so beautiful, funny, intriguing… and the soundtrack is amazing! Thanks for developing such a nice game guys, you rock!
This game is pure nostalgic bliss. A blast from the past, the kind of game we used to love playing on our old computers. Sound design is amazing, a must! I wish they produce more games like that! Very cheap too... Its a bargain, it should cost more!
This is a very nice Adventure. A long and nice story leads you through the foreign alien world. Well done!

Some bad moments

Childish and corny jokes, pointless clicking, obvious puzzles and twisted silliness await you. Add in 1990s graphics, and you have a recipe for why in the hell would anyone want to play this game?
Look for yourself.. All the positive reviews are almost the same length and sound like they were wrote by a marketing person. There is about a minute of actually doing something to every five minutes of non-skipable "dialog". There is a skip button that appears and disappears at random and it doesnt seem to actually skip anything. You are constantly set up to fail, having to randomly tap on things till you get the desired outcome. Example: One of the early missions you have a flashback and you have to lead/distract two characters away over a line. The point was to train you to lead some aliens away from your target character so you can rescue him. But there is no clear point to lead the enemies to and so many obstacles (trees, cant walk between trees?!? Really?!) that you get killed many times till you figure out what youre actually supposed to do. Making the game a pointless wreck. This is not a game it is an exercise to see how long you can put up with pure boredom and tedious tasks. Free would have been too expensive for this program, let alone 3.99. What a waste!!!!! Update, Dec 2015: Still the same! Just a horrible experience. Very poor gameplay design.
linear story, simple puzzles, very slow pace. Not as good as the reviews made it look like. The plot/story is really interesting but the gameplay is frustrating.
The game looks gorgeous and is pleasant to play, even while not exactly exciting. However, frustrating bugs creep up that prevent game play. Even while its listed as fixed in the last update the game still locks up at a certain point. But well, the update took only 2 Months so maybe in a tear or so another bug will be not-fixed. Dont waste money on games by this developer. Look at the videos to enjoy the design and dont bother wasting time on this crap.
retro optics are ok, gameplay sucks, some levels are just tedious and too difficult to enjoy. i feel like having wasted money.
I find the game slow and boring. Maybe Im not as enthralled by the 8-bit environment as others. Poor instruction as to how the game is played. The weak humour is probably its most redeeming quality.
